Add a Transparency & Accountability legal document

When adding a new legal document, you need to configure its general, jurisdiction and content parameters.

To add a new legal document:

  1. Go to Manage icon WL.webpManage>Transparency & Accountability>Legal documents.
  1. Select Add legal document.
  1. In the Add new legal document section, configure the new legal document parameters, as follows:
  • Document name: Enter a descriptive document name for your new legal document.
  • Description: Enter a meaningful description for your new document.
  • Document type: Select the desired document type from the list (for example, Agreement, Cookie policy, DSR and so on).
  • Language: Select the language of the document from the list.
  • Valid from: Use the Date selector icon.webp date selector to configure the date from which the document will be enforced/valid.
  • Published: Toggle on to select the publication date of the document. This date may differ from the Valid from date.
  1. When finished, select Next.
  2. Next, toggle on Applies globally if you want your new legal document to be enforced globally. Note that generic legal documents that apply globally are overridden by jurisdiction specific documents. When finished, select Next.

  1. Next, in the Custom content section, configure the parameters of your legal document, as follows:
  • Content type: Select External link if you want your legal document to be displayed as an external URL. Select Custom content to display your legal document as a custom text (Custom content). Depending on your selection at this stage, the options available to you may vary.

If you selected Content type>External link above: - Link: Enter the external link where your legal document can be accessed.

  • If you selected Content type>Custom content above: - View: Select the format in which you want to draft the legal document (for example, Rich text/markdown/HTML and so on) and then enter the content accordingly in the text editor.

  1. When finished, select Save.
  2. Next, in the Add new legal document section, select Jurisdiction and then toggle on Applies globally if you want your new legal document to be enforced globally. Note that generic legal documents that apply globally are overridden by jurisdiction-specific documents. When finished, select Next.
  1. After configuring the General, Jurisdiction and Content parameters of the legal document, select Add to save. Your newly-created legal document is displayed in the Legal documents section.
