Manage Transparency & Accountability: Content takedown

Content posted on websites must prioritize both privacy and compliance with copyright laws. Around the world, various regulations have created frameworks to make sure these standards are upheld. In the United States, the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) outlines the procedures for requesting the removal of copyrighted content. Meanwhile, the EU E-Commerce Directive provides a framework for addressing illegal content. Without a structured process, managing takedown requests can be time-consuming and error-prone. The Control Center’s content takedown system streamlines requests and provides your team with a mechanism to keep a detailed record of all communications.
