Install the SRI Widget on a generic (HTML) website

A versioned script with integrity hash included is available and it can be accomplished through Sub-resource Integrity (SRI). Use the SRI-enabled script:

  • If you want more control over the scripts added to your website to prevent third-party providers from making changes.
  • If it is requested by a certain regulation, such as PCI requires on payment pages.

Note: We only recommend using the SRI-enabled script when necessary, as this type of script is only available for certain subscription models. You will be able to see the SRI-enabled script for any accounts with subscriptions for GROW and higher.

SRI is a web security feature that prevents tampering with resources like scripts or stylesheets loaded from third-party sources, such as content delivery networks (CDNs). SRI works by comparing the resource's unique code (called a cryptographic hash) with a pre-defined value provided by the developer to confirm that the hash matches. If the hash successfully matches, the file is deemed safe for use; if the hash does not match, the browser does not load the file.
