Operate: Manage Data Subject Requests (DSRs)

Under several different laws, users from various regions have the right to submit a Data Subject Request (DSR) to your organization. Depending on the regulations, users have the right to submit different types of requests, for example:

• The right to access: Users can request a copy of all personal data the organization holds about them.
• The right to deletion/erasure: Users can request deletion of their personal data (also called "right to be forgotten").
• The right to rectification/correction: Users can request correction of inaccurate/incomplete personal data.
• The right to portability: Users can request their data in a structured, commonly used format to transfer to another service. To stay compliant with your users' regulations, your organization must respond to various requests by specific deadlines. Each regulation has different requirements for how long your organization has to handle requests.
